Keep Going!

I saw another printable on Pinterest today that said this, "Keep going. You are getting there". I NEEDED that today! But, I wanted the digital print to match my style so I could frame it and put it up in my room. So, I redid it. Isn't this just inspiring?! It will give me hope each time I read it. I'm so glad that I was guided to go to Pinterest today and someone else was guided to pin this saying. God is great!

In conjunction with this post, I'm gonna do Hoo Are You? #52!!!

Here are this week's questions!

1. Do you prefer to use a regular pencil or mechanical pencil?
Mechanical--they're less messy! 2. What is your favorite color in the crayon box?
This is a hard one...I like weird colors like cerulean and periwinkle or mac and cheese...I can't pick just one!!!
3. Bottled glue or glue stick?
Glue stick--they're less messy!
4. calculator or do it in your head?
Depends on the difficulty of the math--usually in my head... 5.Favorite subject while in High School?
Choir & history--I LOVE singing and I love learning about the past. Ooo, and English! I love reading! Yes, I'm a nerd...
Right click and save the digital print--this is yours for free! Happy printing!

Family

Family is really important to me. I love my husband more than ANYTHING in this world. My relationship with him is the most important relationship that I will ever have, if I play my cards right. Struggling with infertility is something that tears a lot of couples apart. We did not want to be that way. I am so thankful that he is my husband. I am so grateful for all that he does to help me out. Our marriage has only gotten stronger as we work through the stresses that life brings and I wouldn't have it any other way. That's why I made this printable. To remind me of the importance of family. Thanks to Dustybear for her wonderful elements as well as some other digi designers whose names I don't know. :) OH, right click and save--it's yours for FREE! ;D

August Visiting Teaching Message

On my other blog (On A Stampage), I explained what Visiting Teaching (VT) is. Each month, women from our church congregation go and visit 2-4 assigned women and check to see how everything is going. We are assigned companions to go with us, and it's just FUN! Anyway, each month there is a devotional to give and so I create little digital handouts to give to the women I visit. I also have given them picture frames so that they can keep it someplace that they can see is so they remember what the monthly devotional is. Anyway, right click and save--this is yours FREE! :) Happy printing!

BVT 119 Jeremiah 29:11

I love this verse! I cannot say that it is one that I am very familiar with, but as soon as I read it, I realized how important it was to me personally.

My husband and I have been struggling with infertility for over 6 years now (it feels so much longer) and have been blessed to do foster care for a year and to have 12 sweet children in our lives. The stress was too much for us, though, and we stopped doing foster care after a year. We started to take infertility medication and prayed for the best. The Lord has! NOW, we have a sweet little girl who we
Linkhave living with us and she is such a blessing! Reading this verse reminded me yet again that I am not the one in control and that God knows what is best for me! He will bless me with all the righteous desires of my heart! I just have to show forth great faith and put my trust in Him!

This is another freebie for you--right click and save! It measures 4.25"x5.5". Happy printing, and happy thanksgiving to our God!

BVT118 Matthew 11:28-30

This week's Bible Verse Thursday challenge is Matthew 11:28-19. We were told to create something that indicated restfulness. Before I show you my submission, I wanted to give a quick inspirational blip. Here goes...

Rest. Isn't that a lovely word? The Lord tells us, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest...and ye shall find rest unto your souls." (Matthew 11:28-29) He goes on to tell us that He can give us rest because His yoke is easy and that His burden is light. Why? Why does He say that His yoke is easy and His burden light when He took upon Himself all the sins, sickness and sorrows of all the children of God? One word: Love. He Loves us! I use the capital L, because His Love (aka charity) is perfect. Everything that we do can be easy if we do all in Love. Work done in Love can be the same as rest if we allow ourselves to feel Love for those we serve to envelop our lives.

Anyway, there it is. My feelings and thoughts on this scripture! And here is my submission, made with elements by Dustybear:

Right click and save--it's yours for free! It's a 5"x7" print size. I hope you're inspired today to take stock of your life and allow Christ's Love to lighten your yoke and your burdens. Happy living! :)

WOW. Never posted this! "I've decided that this blog needs help. A lot of it. I'm just not writing a ton of poems lately! So, I'm going to start posting my digital art that I make. They're usually inspirational quotes, etc., so I feel they fall into the category of poetry.
